Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Laura is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, also referred to as Nurse Anesthesiologist, who was born and raised in Rapid City, SD. After graduating and completing residency from Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia in Nashville, TN, she moved to Salt Lake to begin her practice. Laura has been taking exceptional care of her patients for over a decade in a wide variety of setting including academics, large teaching hospitals, and private practice. In 2009, she joined the University of Utah Hospital, Veteran Affairs Medical Center and has additionally practiced in several other private surgery center and office settings in Utah and Washington.
Laura has been involved in numerous research projects and held several non-profit board positions, including a position on the state anesthesia UANA Board. She has also served as President for the local ARCS Foundation Utah Chapter, which is a national organization that provides scholarships to young scientists.
Laura enjoys helping her patients have positive anesthesia experiences by safeguarding their health, comfort and emotional care throughout any procedure. When not tending to patients, Laura enjoys time with family and friends and can often be found traveling the world or enjoying the outdoors on the side of a mountain.
